In 2018 the Community Connectors organised a Clear up day to raise money for Marie Curie. The Connectors used funding to purchase cleaning products and equipment and residents were invited to come outside and help clean up the street. So many residents came out of their homes to clear their drive ways and use the skips provided free by SHG contractors. Three skips were filled by the end of the day and after all the hard work was over, residents were invited to join a BBQ and a raffle with all donations going to Marie Curie.
